Lily Roberts is kept busy as the proprietor and pastry chef of Tea by the Sea, a traditional English tearoom on the bluffs of Cape Cod, as well as keeping her grandmother, Rose, away from trouble. Rose runs the Victorian B & B adjacent to Lily's tearoom for now. A pushy estate developer, Jack Ford, wants to rezone the land and build a golf course. This would put Rose and Lily out of business. But when Ford is found dead at the foot of Rose's property and the police think she had something to do with it, Lily starts her own investigation to find the real killer in order to prove her grandmother innocent.
